Wallingford Museum's Judy Dewey has written a self-guided walk around Historic Wallingford and has assisted in the Earth Trust guide to the Castle site. 

​

The Cholsey & Wallingford Railway operates heritage diesel and occasionally steam trains on the Wallingford 'Bunk' line at certain weekends and Bank Holidays.

Pendon Museum recaptures, in detailed and colourful miniature, scenes showing the beauty of the English countryside as it used to be in the years around 1930.

 

The Little Wittenham Nature Reserve, the Wittenham Clumps and other lovely woodland walks are owned by the Earth Trust.

Dorchester Abbey is one the finest monastic buildings in Oxfordshire with a history going back to AD 635.

Dorchester Museum has displays in the Abbey, notably the Cloister Gallery, and in the Old School in the adjoining Abbey Guest House.

It is managed in association with The Wallingford Historical & Archaeological Society (TWHAS) and is a registered charity. It was one of the first museums in Oxfordshire to be fully registered and is fully accredited by the MLA. It is entirely run by volunteers.
